Married In St. Joseph

Miss Mary R. Pollard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Pollard of Lathrop, and Mr. Max Speer, son or Mr. and Mrs. Fred Speer of King City, were married Wednesday, Nov. 16th, at the First Baptist Church in St. Joseph. The Rev. Adiel J. Moncrief performed the ceremony.

The couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Gene Dabler of King City.

Mrs. Speer is a graduate of Lathrop Hgh (sic) School and attended Grad Business College in St. Joseph. For the past few years she has been employed by the Farmers Home Administration.

Mr. Speer is a graduate or King City High School. He served 3 1/2 years in the Army. After a wedding trip, the couple will make their home on a farm near King City.
