Funeral services for Robert F. Asbury, 68, a former resident of Leavenworth who died Saturday morning at Kansas City, Mo., will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Davis Funeral Chapel.
Burial will he at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Muncie Cemetery. Mr. Asbury was born Sept. 11. 1905 at DeKalb, Mo., a son Christopher C. "Lum" and Elsie J. (Ogden) Asbury.
He was a retired farmer and he worked At the Leavenworth Packing Co. for many years.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ruby Patterson, Bartlesville. Okla.; a son, Robert Asbury, San Luis Obispo, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Opal Fevurly, Easton; six brothers, Ernest T. Asbury of 205 Osage, Arthur Asbury of 1129 Spruce. Lee Asbury of 626 W. 7th, Fred Asbury of Hoisington, Woodrow Asbury of Lakewood, Calif. and Frank Asbury of Easton; and five grandsons.
