John's dates come from the history of the Atkinson family published in the Pennsylvania Magazine of History & Biography, Vol. XXX. John's birthdate is given as 9 mo [Nov] 25, 1695 and the footnote indicates that this comes from the records of Lancaster Monthly Meeting. John's will was probated on January 15, 1752 and the article indicates that John died in early January 1752. I don't recall where I got January 12, 1752. Possibly from one of the local Monthly Meetings or possibly from his estate records.
