Al married Cecilia Davis on Dec. 9, 1961 in Coeur d'Alene.
Al had first worked for his Dad, William Hunter, as a leaser for a mine in the Clark Fork area. He then served as a miner for the Star Mine and Consolidated Silver of the Hecla Mining Company, and had also worked for a short time for the Galena Mine of ASARCO.
Al was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Melvin, Everett and Raymond; and one sister Glenda.
