PLEASE NO HALLOWEEN TOKENS. THANK YOU.

Please keep our family in prayer. We are heartbroken. We are having a hard time dealing with her loss. It helps knowing she isn't in pain anymore and had accepted Jesus and was saved and we will see her one day in heaven.

❤ Ramona was born to Harold Atwood sr and Pearl Allen Atwood Palmer. She was the sister of Harold Buddy Atwood jr. When she was young her parents got divorced and her aunt Laura who she was very close to helped raise her and her brother. Ramona would help around the house cleaning and cooking for her family and their boarders while her mom worked. She met her husband Walker and married him when she was 18. The following year they had their 1st son and in the next few years were blessed with 2 more sons and a daughter. She loved being a mom and taking care of her family. She liked bowling and was on a bowling team. She also studied to be a hair dresser. When her children were in their late teens, she got a job as a receptionist in a doctors office and later at a couple other places until she retired. In her spare time she loved working in her flower beds and yard. She had the greenest thumb ive ever seen and could grow anything. She was also a very good cook and took cake decorating classes and made beautiful cakes. She loved to bake and made good homemade pies and cheesecake, etc. She took painting classes in her later years and painted beautiful. When she became a grandma for the 1st time when we had our 1st son and we were living with her and dad, she loved spending time with him and each of her grandchildren. She was a wonderful mom in law and i couldnt have chose better ones if i tryed. She was always there for advice. When we needed it or not. : ) Every year at easter and christmas her and dad would have a family get together at their house. Easter egg hunts for grandkids and a tree at christmas with stockings for all that we all helped fill. She would cook wonderful food with fluffy homemade biscuts and desserts.

Then in May 2014 after she had been well all her life, she became sick with liver cancer. The doctors thought she could do treatments but sadly it was to far advanced. We would take turns taking her to the doctors, hospitals and helping her around her house. My husband Denny and i were there a lot and so was her daughter. My son Den jr lived with her and helped her too. The one thing she was sad she couldnt do was go to church and her ladies bible studys. She loved the Lord and accepted Jesus as her personal savior. Her pastors would visit and Den jr would had bible study at home with her. One day the church surprised her and everyone came to her home for preaching, singing hymns and prayer. She was delighted and loved it.

She was also working on her family tree and i showed her this site and she loved and appreciated all the beautiful tokens people left on her familys memorials. A family member and i helped make her a page on here and she called herself Loved Angels . She wanted to add some family but most of her family had been added that she knew. So she added her mothers doggie and her family pet cat and also helped me with some bios for her families memorials. She had good days and bad days and on good days she liked leaving a few tokens but would get tired. When she got very sick and almost died from a side effect from a drain tube, she emailed find a grave to have me manage all her memorials when she passed. She knew they would be in good hands. She got real sick and went in a coma and passed away Oct 2, 2014. We love her and miss her very much.

Passed away from liver failure due to liver cancer.
