YORK -- Mr. Glenn "Heavy" Boyce Ledford, 68, of 1929 Flat Rock Road died Monday, Feb. 16, 2004, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home in Clover, with the Rev. Tommy Hope officiating. Burial will be at Union Presbyterian Church cemetery in Gastonia, N.C.

A native of York County, Mr. Ledford was a son of the late Joseph Elmer Ledford and Alice King Ledford. He retired from Apac Inc.

Surviving are his daughter, Paulette L. Warmoth of York; his son, Boyce "Bo" Eugene Ledford of Chester; three brothers, James Ledford and Joseph Ledford, both of Clover, and Larry Ledford of Lake Wylie; two sisters, Dorcas Harris of Lake Wylie and Cathy Ledford of Dallas, N.C.; four grandchildren; and his great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
