Death of Mrs. Beebe
Mrs. Laura A. Beebe died Saturday morning of typhoid fever, aged 36 years. She was born in Crawford county, Wisc., and had resided in Kalispell for several years. Her taking off is extremely sad for she leaves four small children, two boys and two girls, without a mother's care.
Her funeral took place from the M.E. church Sunday, and notwithstanding the inclemency of the weather, was largely attended. The sermon was very impressive and when Rev. Craven referred to the struggles and hardships endured by the deceased since leaving her childhood home and coming west, there was not a dry eye in the house.
The casket was profusely covered with flowers and the hand of fellowship was extended to the bereaved husband and family by many who were strangers to them, thus illustrating the truism that brotherly love predominates in the breast of the human family and that one and all sorrow for the grief and bereavements of a fellow citizen.
The remains were interred in Demersville cemetery, followed thither by a large cortege.
