The genealogy says she married second Walter L. Bowman on the 12th of March, 1893, but the census of 2 June 1900 says they had been married 3 years, and the census 15 April 1910 says 12 years, in which case they were married in 1897. Walter was born in Ohio in September, 1876. Walter and Lillian were living in St. Louis in 1900. They may have separated before the 1910 census, which records Lillian living with her maternal aunt Arda Peters and her family, in Berlin Twp., Monroe County, Michigan. By the end of 1911 she was living in Chicago, where her sisters Pearl and Lura lived. Walter died sometime prior to the 1920 census, in which Lillian is listed as a widow.
Lillian married third a widower, Albert Charles Wilson, on the 17th of July, 1920, in Kane, Illinois. Albert was born on the 28th of March, 1875, in Greenway, Ontario, Canada, and immigrated to the USA in 1900. They set up home in Springfield, Illinois, where Albert worked as the chief seed analyst for the Illinois State Department of Agriculture.
After Albert died in 1934, Lillian moved to Long Beach, California, not far from her aunt Mattie Newcomb and her cousin Paul Newcomb. They died in 1943 and 1949, respectively, and Lillian died in 1950. Her body was cremated at Mottell’s Mortuary in Long Beach. By that time she had no living relatives in California, and her ashes were probably scattered.
