She married Lionel Benavides on July 27, 1968 in Indio, CA. She was a homemaker and housekeeper for 40 years. She is survived by her husband, Lionel Benavides of Indio, CA; her sister, Lydia Patino of Indio, CA; her brother, Juan Alvarez of Coachella, CA; 12 nieces and nephews, 24 great-nieces and great-nephews, one great-great-niece and one great-great-nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and 6 brothers. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, Wednesday, April 23, 2008 with a prayer service from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at Iglesia Restructurada Del Espiritu Santo, Indio, CA. Burial to follow at Coachella Valley Cemetery with FitzHenry Funeral Home, Indio, CA in charge of arrangements.
