"Albert J Fowler, 72, died early Saturday morning at his home, 327 Ocean Avenue. Mr Fowler was born here, the son of the late Frederick F Fowler and Mrs Susan Everingham Fowler. He was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Mr Fowler, who was employed at the Belt Estate as a watchman, retired several years ago after 22 years of service.
A brother, George S Fowler, Suffern, NY, survives.
Funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon from the late home with the Rev Lewis H Simpkins, pastor of the First Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery".
