Rev. Cooper was graduated from the University of West Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1891. Then he was graduated from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago in 1895. He was ordained to Presbyterian ministry in 1895 by the Presbytery of Iowa City. In 1897 he was serving as pastor of the Presbyterian congregation in Columbus Junction, Iowa, but by 1898 he’d ton on to serve congregations in Illinois and Wisconsin. In 1906 he was living in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
