Daughter of Frank and Clara (Dick) Bellack.

In 1927 her family relocated to a farm in Faulk County. She remained there until leaving home to work for several different families who needed extra help in the Faulkton and Seneca area.

On December 20, 1937, Florence married Otis M. Winters in Faulkton. They established their farm north west of Seneca where they lived for about 50 years. She and Otis raised three children, Larry, Noreen and Dean.

Upon retirement from the farm they went on several trips and tours. They visited most of the US, as well as several European countries. She continued on her own and with friends to visit family, as well as taking tours.

In 1985 they moved into Seneca and again established a home there. Florence was always involved in the community and activities. She was a member of the Stick Together Club until it ceased for lack of members. She was in the Rebekah Lodge for 50 years and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She and a group of retired women from Seneca ran and operated the Seneca café for 15 years.

Otis and Florence joined the Seneca Methodist Church. Florence taught Sunday school and belonged to the United Methodist Women’s group. She enjoyed sewing and croqueting. She croqueted afghans for all her children, grandchildren and many others as gifts. She enjoyed putting puzzles together and playing cards. Many games of solitaire were played with win/lose record about even. She enjoyed gardening and working in her flowers. She was creative and enjoyed handicrafts.

She is survived by two children: Noreen (Harlin) Trefz of Jackson, TN and Dean (Anna) Winters of Robinson, TX; eight grandchildren: Julio Trefz of Olive Branch, MS, Sarah Watson of Jackson, TN, Chris Trefz of Jackson, TN, Michelle (Josh) Fundis of Appalachian, NY, Jennifer Winters of Syracuse, NY, Joe Myskiew of Ulster, PA, Jim Myskiew, and Kevin Ayres of Robinson, TX; one sister, Ella Winters of Cottonwood, AZ, and one brother, Lloyd Bellack of Faulkton.

She was preceded in death by her husband Otis; one son, Larry; one sister, Mabel Holzworth; two brothers: Edwin and Vernon Bellack; her parents: Frank and Clara and several sister and brother-in-laws.
