Sarah Wilson Albert was an employee at a candy factory in
Chicago where she met and married Frank M. Albert. On her
death certificate, she was listed as Vice-President of Albert's Candies. Sarah was close to eleven years older then Frank M. Albert-based on the Canadian Census of 1881
of Ontario, Canada. Uncle Frank and Aunt Sadie visited us
each Christmas while we lived at 5810 West Erie Street, Chicago, Illinois. These visits seemed to have stopped when
we moved to 1120 North Lorel Avenue, Chicago, Illinois. Our
family however visited Uncle Frank and Aunt Sadie frequetly
in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Elizabeth Catherine Wilson (McNerney) lived with Uncle Frank Albert for a brief time while she attended Marquette University. Catherine eventually graduated from Loyola University of Chicago.
At the time of Sarah A. Albert's death, her obituary stated the following:
