She was born February 21, 1924 in Sunnyside to Andrew and Mary Sporcich.
She married the love of her life, Tony Marasco, on October 12, 1946 in Helper, Utah. He passed away on February 4, 1992. They had two children, Terry and Trudy.
She was a member of Saint Anthony’s Catholic Church. They strived very hard to be successful in life while raising a family and running two businesses. They gave their children and grandchildren everything they ever wanted.
Helen loved dancing the polka and spending time at the Senior Citizens Center.
Her lively spirit will be dearly missed.
She loved being able to reside at Parkdale with her brother, Frank, for the past few months.
Her heart ached as some severed ties and young relations were never established. It was always her desire to love and be loved for all she did.
She is survived by her daughter, Trudy (Frank) Markosek; five grandchildren, Tammy (Pete), Teri, Michael (Tifani), Matt (Karah), and Mark; eight great-grandchildren, Reese and Aleece, whom she adored; one sister; and one brother. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son; two sisters; and two brothers.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Entombment: Price City Cemetery.
