The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:20 p.m., Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Flint Hill Baptist Church, Fort Mill. The funeral will follow at 2:30 p.m., with Dr. Larry Twitty officiating. Burial will be at the Robin S. McGee Cemetery in Paw Creek, N.C.
Born in Charlotte, Mrs. Eaton was the last surviving of five children born to the late Milton Walker Adams and Ethel Livina Riggins. She was a retired registered nurse for Dr. Hunter Jones in Charlotte and an interior designer. Mrs. Eaton was an active member of Flint Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving are her son, Carl E. Eaton III of Fort Mill; her daughter, Susan Eaton of Clover; six grandchildren, Mandy, Ashley, Alesha, Dustin, Candace and Titus; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Edward Eaton, Jr.
