Gertrude R. "Gee" Wellington of Commerce Twp. was born January 2, 1930 in Miami, Florida to Maximillian Attila and Rowena Virginia (nee: Anderson) Loebel. She died October 4, 2014 at age 84.

Gee is the beloved wife of 59 years to Graham "Paul" Wellington. Loving mother of Heidi (Dan) Valeen, Theresa (the late Leon) Straub, Graham Paul "Duke" (Amy Wellington,Jr., Michael (Annette) Wellington and Roxanne Wellington. Dear grandmother of Melissa (Edward), Joseph, Cassidy, Max, Rick and Michael "Luke". Sister of Gwendolyn (Howard) Norton. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Funeral mass from St. William Catholic Church, 531 Common Street, Walled Lake Thursday 10 AM (In state 9:30 AM) Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery. Friends may visit Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 340 N. Pontiac Trail Walled Lake (3 blocks S. of Maple Road.)Wednesday 5-9 PM. Memorials to Jewish Senior Life, Brown Adult Day Care Program appreciated.
