Thomas E. Pinelli, Sr. - born in the Bronx, NY March 1st, 1926 -died November 21st, 2011, resident of Bronxville, N.Y. Thomas passed away peacefully with his wife and two loving sons holding his hand by his bedside. Thomas was born and raised in the Bronx. He was one of two brothers born of the late Louis and Rachel Pinelli. He was a veteran of World War II who served in the Third Infantry Division where they fought German forces in the Rhineland and liberated Dachau concentration camp. Thomas worked as a postal employee for thirty years before retiring. After moving to Bronxville, NY with his wife Ruth, he dedicated his life on being a devoted husband and father to his two sons. His life was fulfilled with the time he spent with his family. As a family man with a gentle good humor; he has touched the lives of not only his wife and sons; but all of their friends as well.

Calling hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, Bronxville, 4 to 7 pm, Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's Church, Bronxville, on Friday, Nov. 25 at 10 am.
