Raymond John Angermier Sr., 62, a seven-year resident of Crownsville, died Nov. 16 at home after a brief illness. The cause of death is unavailable.

Born Sept. 26, 1944, in Harwick, Pa., Mr. Angermier attended Calvert Junior High School. He recently retired from Chaney Enterprises in Annapolis after 20 years of working as a concrete truck driver.

He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Crownsville and the Elks Lodge in Deale. His interests included yardwork and gardening.

Surviving are his wife, Martha Trott Angermier, whom he married Dec. 24, 1999; two daughters, Barbara A. Tayman of Lothian and Christine Germann of Friendship; one son, Raymond John Angermier Jr. of Harwood; two step-sons, Herbert Thomas Jr. of Crownsville and James S. Thomas of Seaford, Del.; 14 grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters. Betty Jean Davis, his first wife, died March 23, 1980, and Kathleen Doolan Angermier, his second wife, died Aug. 15, 1988.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Disabled Veterans of America, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
