TACOMA, Wash. - Josephine Deschamps (Hazelbaker) McDonald, 84, died Thursday, May 14, in Tacoma at St. Joseph's Hospital of a heart attack.
Joey was born March 12, 1914, in Missoula the daughter of Gaspard and Mayme Deschamps.
She married Frank W. Hazelbaker of Dillon, with whom she had two sons, Frank and John.
They later divorced. In 1950, she married Donald S. McDonald, who died in 1993.
Survivors include her two sons and their wives, Frank and Judy Hazelbaker of Missoula and John and Joyce Hazelbaker of Tacoma; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The Rosary and Funeral Mass were held Monday, May 18, at the Gaffney Cassedy Allen and Buckley King Funeral Home in Tacoma, with the Rev. Pat Fletcher officiating. Burial was at the Calvary Cemetery in Tacoma.
