Minnie married Raymon Andrew Wimberley, she was an active Eastern Star member. She loved her grandkids and also liked to travel to Missouri where she visited with her sister. She loved to go to the beach and fishing.
Minnie Lorene Wimberley, 75, of Lacy Lakeview, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2006, at a local hospital. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Smith officiating. Burial will be at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, at the funeral home.
Minnie Lorene was born in Mart, Texas, to the late Fred and Mattie (Starr) Martin. She married Raymon Wimberley on April 10, 1959. Minnie owned and operated Wimberley's Bookkeeping for 40 years, was an Associate Conductress for a Waco Eastern Star, and also was a member of Park Lake Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 24, 2000.
Survivors include her son, Raymon "Randy" Wimberley and wife, Debbie, of Lacy Lakeview; grandchildren, Brad Wimberley and wife, Annette, of Lake Jackson, Amanda Wimberley and husband, Jeremy, of Watt, Justin Wimberley and wife, Jill, of Brazoria, Chris Jones, Robert Jones and Wesley Jones, all of Lockhart, Tessa Alexander, of Lacy Lakeview, and Cassandra Alexander, of Watt; great-granddaughter, Cyanne Grace Wimberley; sister, Dorothy Williams, of Excelsior Springs, Mo.; and many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
