Ruby J. Fountain, 72, of Albany, Mo., passed away on July 28, 2006, at an Albany hospital.
Ruby, the daughter of Benjamin Clyde and Opal (Kerns) Beckett was born May 2, 1934, in Siloam Springs, Mo.
On Jan. 6, 1951, Ruby married Virgil L. Fountain. He preceded her in death Aug. 4, 1994.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; sons, James and Bobby; infant daughter, Julie; sister, Helen Weese; and brother, Carl Beckett.
Ruby was a homemaker and attended the First Baptist Church in Albany.
Survivors: daughters, Cindy Gillespie and husband, Craig, Albany, and Sharon Blakley and husband, Larry, Atchison, Kan.; son, Keith Fountain, and wife, Cristie, Albany; sisters, Dorothy Ashlock, Stanberry, Mo., Doris Good, Loveland, Colo; brothers, Bill Beckett, Loveland, Colo., Harold Beckett, New Hampton; Companion, Gene Hager, Pattonsburg, Mo.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and two step-great grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held July 31, 2006, at Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany, Mo.
Burial: Henton Cemetery, Albany, Mo.
