ROCHESTER :The funeral for Francis R. Jack will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bridget's Catholic Church in Simpson, with the Rev. Gregory Havel officiating. Burial will be in St. Bridget's Cemetery in Simpson.
Mr. Jack, 84, died Saturday (Oct. 2, 2004) at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. He was born Nov. 29, 1919, in River Falls, Wis. He married Frances Alzheimer on Jan. 12, 1953, in Rochester. She died in 1979. He married Florence Alzheimer Price on Oct. 18, 1980, in Denver. She survives.
Mr. Jack was a lifelong resident of rural Rochester, where he was a dairy farmer. He was a member of St. Bridget's Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Debbie (Scott) Jacobson of Rochester; sons, Anthony "Tony" Jack of Rochester, and Gary (Janell) Jack of Minnesota City, Minn.; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild; brothers, Ray Jack of Deland, Fla. and Eugene "Gene" (Mary Ann) Jack of Chatfield.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Macken Funeral Home in Rochester and an hour before the service at the church on Wednesday. There will be a 7:30 p.m. prayer service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
