Mr. Eston Lee, age 94, of Four Oaks was called to be with the Lord while at home surrounded by his loving family. He is reunited in Heaven with Vonnie C. Lee, the love of his life with whom he enjoyed over 71 years of marriage. He was predeceased by his parents, William E. and Clyda L. Lee, a brother, Ira B. Lee, and a sister, Martha Lee (Mrs. Wade) Grice, both of Four Oaks.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 14, 2010 at Stones Creek Church with Rev. Doug Abel and Rev. Randy Beasley officiating. Burial will follow in the Hills of the Neuse Memory Gardens.
Surviving family include: his children W. Sherwood Lee of Four Oaks, R. Shelton Lee and wife, Linda of Emerald Isle, Judy Lee Moore and husband, Martin of Greenwood, SC, and Tommy Lee and wife, Jackie of Four Oaks; a grandson of Four Oaks, a grandson and wife of Raleigh, a granddaughter and husband of Simpsonville, SC, a grandson and wife of Greenwood, SC, a grandson of Four Oaks, NC, a granddaughter and husband of Four Oaks, a granddaughter and husband of Tampa FL, a granddaughter and husband of Raleigh; six great grandchildren.
Other surviving family includes brothers, Earl Lee and Ed Lee of Four Oaks; sisters, Ruth Hair Westbrook of Smithfield, Verlene Hair Barbour of Kitty Hawk, Dorothy Hair Underhill of Smithfield, Rachel Hair Aman of Clinton, and Naomi Hair Coker of Florida.
Friends will be greeted in the Stones Creek Church Fellowship Hall after the service.
