Marie Morris, 87 of Claysville, died October 6, 2014 at Breese Personal Care Home.

She was born February 4, 1927 in Washington, the daughter of the late Neal Reed and Helen Irene Johnston Reed.

Pearl was a homemaker and enjoyed children and crocheting little girls dresses.

She was a member of the Christian Gathering Church and taught Sunday School.

On May 3, 1948 she married Hallie E Morris Sr., who died August 25, 2010.

Surviving are a son, Hallie Morris Jr. of Claysville; many nieces and nephews; a favorite niece, Donna Mae Pirko of N. Jackson, OH.

Deceased are a brother, Warren Casterline; a sister, Betty Miller.

Friends will be received Friday, October 10, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Michael Roach officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
