Born January 24, 1916, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Samuel S. and Emma F. (Reiff) Dentler. Mrs. Bietsch was a graduate of Chambersburg High School, class of 1935. She was married March 25, 1944, to the late Clark P. Bietsch. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Louise D. Hague.
She was a member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church. During her 17-year residence at Menno Haven, she was vital and generous participant in their volunteer program, working many hours in on going programs and at special events.
Surviving are her daughter, Barbara (wife of Robert) Ferguson, Emlenton, Pa.; her sister, Lucille (wife of Jay L.) Hartman of Greenvile, Pa.; six nieces, and one nephew, four grandnieces and five grandnephews.
