Age 68. Passed away Feb. 29, 1964 in the Westview Nursing Home. Miss Dexter was born in Clinton, Wis. on Aug. 15, 1895 and had lived in Union Grove for 41 years, coming from Ashland, Wis. She was a teacher in the Union Free High School for 23 years. She was a member of the Union Grove Congregational Church, was president of the Church Fellowship League and was a member of other organizations of the church. Surviving are one sister, Miss Emily Dexter, Whitewater, Wis.; four brothers, Paul, Portland, Ore., Daniel, Ashland, Wis., Frank of Bayfield, Wis. and Stephen of E. Lansing, Mich.; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 2 p.m. in the Union Grove Congregational Church, Rev. Joseph Steen officiating. Interment will be in the Union Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the Rohde Funeral Home, 908 11th Ave. Union Grove, this (Monday) afternoon after 4 o'clock, during the evening and until Tuesday noon when the late Miss Dexter will be taken to the church.
