Ira B. Lee was the son of Willie E. Lee (02 Jan 1893 - 12 Feb 1920) and Clyda May Lee Haire. Willie E. Lee was the son of William Allen Lee (31 Dec 1870 - 27 Jun 1962) and Delia Esther Marler (09 Dec 1870 - 04 Aug 1955).

Ira worked as a carpenter. I never knew him to have a middle name so I'm not sure what "B" stands for.

He married Lomie Allen on 23 Dec 1939 in Johnston County, North Carolina. They had five (5) children - four sons and one daughter.

He served in the U.S. Army from 29 Mar 1945 until 09 Oct 1945.
