Vivian Irene Smith, 88, of Huntington, WV, passed away October 3, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born October 10, 1925, in Milton, WV, a daughter of the late Alva Hickman and Nellie Cooper Hickman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Melton Babe Smith; three brothers Gerald, Ellsworth, Dewey Hickman.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Rhonda Williams of Franklin, KY, Earl and Donna Smith of Ona, Avona Kay and Jack Midkiff of Ona, Diana and Jimmie Lane of Huntington, Glenda and Joe Auffant of Milton; two sisters, Christine Sargent and Arvena Gibson; four brothers Harold, John, Jack, and Ellwood Hickman; ten grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, October 6, 2014 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Bill Davis and Pastor Don Weeks.

Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.
