He was born April 19, 1894, in Kittanning, a son of the late Thomas and Catharine (Boyle) Bowser. He was a plumber at Kittanning for 35 years, and a member of the local plumbers' union. He was also a member of Kittanning First Methodist Church.
Surviving are three brothers, William Albert of Kittanning RD2, [Elmer] Curtis of Armsdale Home, Kittanning RD5, and Emery of Kittanning. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Friends are being received at Rhodes funeral home where services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow. Rev. Lew F. Johnston, pastor of Kittanning First Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be made in Kittanning Cemetery.
