PISGAH - Services were held Sunday at the Methodist church in Pisgah for L.C. Niles, 84, who died Thursday at his home here after several weeks' illness. Bolton-Cranston funeral home of Logan was in charge, the Rev. C.E. McPherson conducting rites and burial in Magnolia cemetery.
Mr. Niles, a retired farmer, was born March 21, 1863, near Orson and spent his entire life in Harrison county.
Surviving are his widow, Martha; two sons, Earl and Harvey Niles, all of Pisgah; four daughters, Mrs. Maude Byers, Glenwood; Mrs. Irene Michael, Pisgah; Mrs. Mina Wilson and Mrs. Grace Bare, both of Bellevue, Neb.; and two sisters, Mrs. Clara Booth of Glenwood and Mrs. Fred Brainard of Stuart.
