Anne Lougene "Mimi" (Moore) Chadwell, 92, of New Tazewell, Tennessee died on October 9, 2014 after fighting a brave battle against oral cancer. She was born on August 4, 1922 to Abe and Eva (Earl) Moore. She was a licensed practical nurse, working many years with Dr. Robert Alexander, at the Miners Clinic in Middlesboro, Kentucky. She was the owner/operator of New Tazewell Package Store for over 40 years. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, William R. Chadwell, Jr.; by daughters, Joy Chadwell and Melba Katherine Purkey; and son, Phillip Chadwell; brothers, Jack, Carlo, and Bill Moore; sister, Beatrice (Toots) Moore Randall; and half-sisters, Gertrude Moore and Pauline Moore Quinlan. She is survived by her brother, son, three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Funeral: 7:00 p.m. October 12, 2014 at Coffey Funeral Home.
