Furlong - Died, Tuesday, Feb. 25, at 12:25 a.m., at his late residence, 1723 South Eleventh street, Philip Furlong, aged 70 years.

He was born in County, Carlow, Ireland, parish of Fullow, and had been a resident of Springfield thirty years.

He is survived by his widow and twelve children. The daughters are: Mrs. Mary Whittle, Mrs. Anna Gould, Nellie, Alice and Clara. The sons are: James, Richard, John, Philip, Lawrence, Thomas and Charles.

Furlong - A large number of the friends, neighbors and relatives of the late Philip Furlong attended his funeral yesterday at the Church of the Immaculate Conception at 2 o'clock.

The offerings of flowers was indicative of the esteem in which Mr. Furlong was held in life and of the sympathy for the bereaved family.

Rev. Father Hickey officiated at the services, and the body was committed to earth in Calvary cemetery.

Following are the men who bore the pall: Joseph Lelnan, Nick Pinney, Andrew Reed, Anthony Brennan, Frank Wooley and Henry Dudley.
