LUCILLE STEINKE DIES; RITES SET FOR WEDNESDAY
MONTICELLO--Mrs. Lucille Steinke, 74, of 602 W. Broadway, died at 11:30 p.m. Sunday at the White County Hospital, following an extended illness.
Born in White County, April 21, 1901, she was the daughter of Anthony A. and Mary Clifford Anheir. She was married to William Steinke, who preceded her in death.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church and the Monticello Thalia Club.
Survivors include three nephews and several great-nephews.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, with the Revs. David and Robert Fosselman officiating. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Aufenberg Funeral Home.
