R. Douglas, Physician at Clarks, Dies.
Clarks. The only practicing physician at Clarks, Dr. Robert R. Douglas, 79, died Thursday at a Grand Island hospital. A native of Clarks, Dr. Douglas practiced medicine here 56 years. He graduated from Creighton University College of Medicine in 1911 and after a year's internship, opened his office here in 1912. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Peters Catholic Church here. Survivors include a son, Philip of Hastings; a daughter, Mrs. Walter Cremeen of Grand Island, five grandchildren and a great grandchild.
