Charles Wilson Allen III was Born on July 7 1921 in South China, Kennebec County, Maine to the late Charles Wesley Allen II and Edna Viola Clark, Charles enlisted in the Navy on 8 September 1942 in Ashland, Kentucky during world war II Charles Paul and Dean Allen three brothers served together at the same time in the US Navy, Charles as a Radar repairman , he worked for 40 years at Avon in Fayette County, Kentucky and could look at a radar and tell you what was wrong with it, he was sent by the Government to work on radars all over the world, he served as a scoutmaster of troop 57 at the Berea Baptist Church for 25 years, reached the highest level of the Order of the Arrow, at one time held the 2nd place in the state championship in archery in the state of Kentucky. and passed away of Heart trouble at the Veterans hospital in Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky at the age of 79, on May 10, 2000, he was married to Eleanor Lea Houston on 14 April, 1947 in Clark County, Indiana, and they were the Parents of Charles Wesley Allen IV, Robert Allen, Mary Lee Allen, David Allen and James Allen and Janet M Allen who proceeded him in death on January 29, 1997 at 42 years of age
