He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. A retired auto mechanic who could fix anything. An avid fisherman, naturalist and animal lover, a lifelong Chicago White Sox, Bears and Blackhawks fan. A loving husband, father and grandfather.
Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment with military honors will be held in the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 11:00 a.m.
