In 1808, he was a farmer in Air Twp, with 350 warrented acres, 1 horse, 2 cows. Valuation $200, his tax was $1.33.
He died July 25,1844, was buried in Big Spring graveyard, near McConnellsburg, PA. The monument for his daughter Margaret Conner is beside his monument.

Wooden marker very difficult to read, in 1989. By 2000, had completely deteriated amd was replaced with a monument, by some of Robert's descendants.
