Glen Edgar Maxwell, of Whitefield, Oklahoma, was born August 13, 1926, in Hoyt, Oklahoma, to M.T. and Johnnie Zella (Moore) Maxwell. He passed away October 15, 2014, in Whitefield, Oklahoma, at the age of 88.
He is survived by; Wife of 70 years: Mildred Marie (Rogers) Maxwell, of the home One daughter: Marcia Lee Camp-Lindsey of Muskogee, Oklahoma Three sons: Edgar Dewain Maxwell and wife, Sue, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma Dennis Maxwell and wife, Patsy, of Stilwell, Oklahoma Gary Maxwell and wife, Roberta, of Okemah, Oklahoma Two sisters: Shirley Ridgeway and husband, Abe, of Tulsa, Oklahoma Hallie Faye Tucker and husband, J.D., of Adrian, Michigan One brother: Kenneth Gerald Maxwell of Decatur, Texas Nine Grandchildren:Lynette Jones, Dennis Glenn Maxwell, Joel Maxwell, Jeff Maxwell, Joshua Maxwell, Lana Frasier, Wendell Maxwell, Stacy Sebastian, and Adrian Camp 27 Great Grandchildren Eight Great-Great Grandchildren
Glen was preceded in death by one sister, Fearl Dean Flood; and his parents.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday, October 20, 2014 at Sandridge Pentecostal Church with Rev. Bill Shirel, Rev. Matthew Martin and Rev. Nathaniel Hampton officiating. Burial will follow in Whitefield Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory of Stigler.
