Born Friday, January 29, 1926 in Winona, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Monroe Ghoston and the late Sallie Gooch Ghoston. He was the husband of Millie Garrett Ghoston. He was employed by TVA and was a US Army Veteran of World War II. Surviving are son, Larry Ghoston; daughters, Gloria Ghoston, Thallie Warr, Shirley Key (Henry), Mary Neal and Lillie Johnson; brother, Clevander Ghoston; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11:55 a.m. on Friday, October 17 followed by funeral service at 12 p.m., all at R.S. Lewis Funeral Home, located at 374 Vance Avenue Memphis, TN 38126.
