Raymond J. Hachat Jr., 56 of 104 Seneca Drive, died at 4:30 pm, Tuesday, October 21, 1975, in a local hospital following a brief illness. He was born at Fairchance, PA, July 14, 1919, a son of the late Raymond J. Hachat Sr. and Laura Davis Hachat. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Griffith Hachat; one son, Ronald R. Hachat, of Laurel Valley, West Virginia, three daughters, Mrs. John (Barbara) Pinkerton, of Savannah, Georgia, Mrs. C.G. (Linda) Faris, of Mountain Top, PA, and Miss Alisa Hachat, at home; two brothers, Lloyd M. Hachat, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. and Charles R. Hachat, Mt. Vernon, Ohio; four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Leon R. Hachat. Raymond Hachat had 35 years service with PPG Industries and at the time of death, was employed by the State Department of Highways. He was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church and also belonged to Hermon Lodge 6, AF and AM. He served with the U.S. Air Force during World War II. Friends may call at the Davis Funeral Home, 443 West Pike Street from 2:00 - 9:00 pm. Thursday. Funeral Services will be held at the Christ Episcopal Church, Friday, October 24 at 11:00 am. Father David C. Bane, Rector of Christ Episcopal Church will officiate. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.

On Jan 23, 1943 when Raymond Jules was 23, he married Dorothy Irene GRIFFITH, daughter of Harrison GRIFFITH and Sally MARTZ, in Tampa, Florida. Born July 23, 1923, in Clarksburg, West Virginia. Dorothy Irene died in Clarksburg, Harrison County, West Virginia on June 24, she was 72. She is buried in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
