Dorothy Irene Griffith Hachat Jr., 71, of 104 Seneca Dr.,Clarksburg, West Virginia, died at 12:12pm, Saturday, June 24, 1995, at her residence, following an extended illness.

She was born in Mt. Clare, West Virginia July 23,1923, a daughter of the late Harrison Griffith and Sally Matz Griffith.

Her husband, Raymond Hachat Jr, preceded her in death in October of 1975.

Surviving are three daughters, Alisa Saliga, Clarksburg, Barbara Pinkerton, Arlington, Texas, and Linda Faris, Freehold, N.J.; one son, Ronald Ray Hachat, 411 4th St., Nutter Fort: One brother, Paul Griffith of Baltimore, MD, one sister Mildred Miller, of Ruskin,FL, and 9 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 4 brothers. She was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church, the Church Guild, and was a member of the Chancel Choir. She was a former member of the Auxiliary to United Hospital Center.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday at Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, 329 East Main St. in Clarksburg. The funeral service will be held at 11a.m. on Tuesday at Christ Episcopal Church with Rev. Scott Holcombe officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
