Died Thursday morning March 16, 2006. Jack was born September 3, 1951 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of John F. and Coral (VanAntwerp) Hughes, Sr. He had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with the Metron Nursing Home. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Hughes. He is survived by a son, Mark Hughes of Kalamazoo; a step daughter Corrin Paulin of Kalamazoo; a grandchild, Drefan Sager; 3 step grandchildren, William, James, and Nathan Paulin; his parents, John and Coral Hughes, Sr. of Plainwell; 5 sisters, Sandra (James) McCann of Muskegon, MI, Patricia (Horace) Cuddington of Rocky Mount, NC, Penny (Harry) Kniseley and Sue Hughes all of Plainwell, and Tammy (David) Iungerich of Fort Belvoir, VA; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be 1-2pm Tuesday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel with graveside services to follow in Hillside Cemetery, Plainwell.
