Reverend Garrell Ray Brewer, 50 years of age, of Birnamwood, Wisconsin, formerly of Science Hill, Kentucky, departed this life on Tuesday, June 24th, 2003 at Wausau Hospital in Antigo, Wisconsin.

Garrell was born on October 28th, 1952 in Farmers, Kentucky, son of Rev. Alfred Brewer and Audna Slagle Brewer. He was born in Kentucky, as a child, he moved to Ohio, spending his early childhood years, he then moved to Buffalo, New York during his teen years. As an adult, he spent most of his years in Florida until moving to Wisconsin in 1996. He was the grandson of Dorsey and Martha Slagle. He was a Logistical Engineer at Lockheed Space Operations in Titusville, Florida and a member of the Faith Center Church of God.

During his time at Titusville Florida,he worked for McDonnell Douglas Astronautics Company TICO plant as an Expediter.Prior to that he Lived at Lake Wales Florida and worked with his Dad in an Auto Paint and Body Shop.His first wife, the mother of his two children was named Janice

Garrell was survived by his parents, Reverend Alfred Brewer and Audna Slagle Brewer of Leesburg, Florida; his loving wife, Tina Brewer, whom he married on April 5th, 1991 in Christmas, Florida; one son, Philip (and fiancée, Priscilla Bjorkgren) Brewer of Boynton Beach, Florida; one daughter, Charity (and fiancée, Brian Roberts) Brewer of Fruitland Park, Florida; two brothers, Alfred (and Lynn) Brewer, Jr. of Gotha, Florida and Darrell (and Joy) Brewer of Sanford, Florida; one sister, Sharon Staines of Summerfield, Florida; one grandchild, Eric Andrew Browning Roberts; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.

Visitations were held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 28th, 2003 and again from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 29th, at the Morris and Hislope Funeral Home in Science Hill, Kentucky.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 30th, 2003 in the Chapel of the Morris and Hislope Funeral Home with Brother Johnnie Dunbar officiating.

Burial followed in the Science Hill Cemetery in Science Hill, Kentucky.
