A resident of Calgary for the past 17 years, Edward Wentworth Aikins, 1415 Fifth street east, died in a local hospital Sunday morning following a brief illness in his sixty-second year.

A native of Nova Scotia, the late Mr. Aikins came west to Calgary in 1905. He moved to Exshaw, Alta, but returned to Calgary in 1918, where he had since resided.

Besides his wife, Alice, he is survived by two sons, Wilfred and Stanley, and a daughter, Eileen, all of Calgary.
