Thomas Harrison Stone was born near Rogersville, Lauderdale, Alabama on 28 Aug 1871 and moved with his parents, Albert Montgomery Stone 1850-1931 and Catherine Bertha Powell 1846-1901 to Audubon, Wise County, Texas.
His death certificate shows he was a stationary engineer working with machinery when he developed pellagra. This toxic vitamin deficiency leads to complicated, painful physical symptoms and mental problems and death.
He died after almost two years of hospitalization in Wichita Falls. He was buried in Alvord Cemetery 17 April 1925. He never married.
