Upon graduation from High School in 1943, she moved to Ann Arbor, and worked for a brief time at the Bomber Plant in Ypsilanti and then for several years at Michigan Bell Telephone. June had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to read, and she also enjoyed cooking and baking. June enjoyed going to Michigan State University football games in East Lansing, where she and Ron had season tickets for over 50 years. June also enjoyed visiting area cemeteries with her daughter Karen and also enjoyed the family history and genealogy that Karen discovered.
