One of the largest attended funerals that has occurred in this city for a long time was that of Elizabeth Hagerman wife of Augustus Hagerman, whose death occurred on Friday last. The obsequies were held at the family residence 444 William Street yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Hagerman was well known and the great outpouring of friends showed only too well how esteemed she was. The services were conducted by the Rev. Samuel Creighton of the Pine Street Methodist Church. After the services, the remains which were enclosed in a handsome black covered casket with the name Mother upon it was taken by a long cortege to Wildwood Cemetery for interment.
