"Florence Z. 'Chris' Papalos, 71, of Warren, went home to be with the Lord at 10:04 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2, 2009 at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital after a courageous and complicated two-year battle with cancer.
"She was born Aug. 12, 1937, in Littleton, W.Va., the daughter of the late Frank and Marietta Garrison Bungard.
"Mrs. Papalos retired from Kennametal in 1999.
"Chris was an avid reader. She liked to bowl and play slots and games.
"She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
"Survivors include ...
"Other than her parents, Chris was preceded in death by her husband, Steve G. Papalos, whom she married April 23, 1959, and who passed away Nov. 13, 1998; and two brothers, Buddy and Randy Bungard.
"Family and friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday.
"Burial will be at the Oakwood Cemetery."
