Mr. Paul Hicks Abernathy, 74, of Vickery Drive, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2000, in Anderson.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, North Augusta. Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Gardens, North Augusta.
Mr. Abernathy, a native of Shelby, N.C., had been an E.I. DuPont employee. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a son, Larry Abernathy, Clemson; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Sonny Doolittle, Wyman Banks, Gary Dominick, Gyles Storey, John Carter, Willie Sanders, Jhonnie Paxton, and Bob Woodward.
Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1002 Carolina Ave., North Augusta, SC 29841.
Friends may call at the residence of Jan Abernathy, 109 Knotty Pine Drive, North Augusta.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Rowland Funeral Home.
