Melinda Ann Roch, 35, a native and resident of Franklin, passed away Tuesday,
January 5, 2010, at Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia.
Melinda is survived by her son, Brett Michael Roch of Verdunville; her mother,
Anna Charpentier Demahy of Verdunville; her father Lionel Roch of Lewiston,
Maine; her sister, Shantell Roch Smith of Franklin; three nieces; and one
nephew.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed Monday, Jan. 11, at Ibert's
Mortuary, from 10:30 a.m. until service time. Funeral services will be held
Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Burial will follow in the Crossroads
Cemetery in Jeanerette. Pastor Robert Liner will officiate the services.
